Description

S. Edwards after Nattier signed and framed and engraving. Samuel Arlent Edwards (British, 1861-1938) was famous for his engraving and mezzotint reproductions of famous works. This particular engraving is done after Jean-Marc Nattier’s painting entitled, “Marie Adelaide of France as Flora.” The engraving is signed by Edwards in pencil on the left side of the lower margin. The engraving is copyrighted 1902.

Condition: Wear commensurate of age.
